Hi dedale

Here are my results of testing:

1) Beginning date/End date: If you select a date via calendar button, in the date field will be written down 12-mm-dd

2) Please make preselection for Alldays option

3) Even if you have selected "Allday Event" or "Use same hours for each day", a lot of dropdown appears.
In IE not needed days disappear after typing in the day, in Firefox 6.0 all the dropdowns for 31 days stay here.

4) For "Allday Event" dropdown with time is not needed and should be invisible.
For "Use same hours for each day" dropdown with time should only be visible one time

5) If you change the allday option, you must also change beginning or end date to (de)activate the dropdowns with time
This should work with changing the option.

Can you tell me, when we get the next version?

Hello Goffy,

Version 2.1.1 is now released.

We've made some displays changes in the details view and some bug fixes.

We've looked at your bug reports, but we are not about everything.

1) What is the problem with that?

2) There is no default options selected because these options only apply if it is an all day / multi-day event. For a couple of hours event, none of them should be selected.

3) We didn't see that problem. We've tested with IE, chrome, firefox and safari.

4) We made them disabled and not invisible because we wanted these to be "remembered" in the browser in case the change was an error and you want these times again.

5) These are made like the others, they become disabled.

For the 4 and 5, we will look to make them invisible without losing the behaviour we want.

Thank you for your suggestions / bug reports.

Kind regards,

Hi,

We've tried on internet explorer, mozilla firefox and google chrome, and we didn't see that problem. It is always written 12-05-08 (for example).

The problem may come from the internet browser.

What browser (and what version of it) did you use?

Hi,

First, sorry for the delay. We are now working on another project, but we are still improving APCal module and we like your comments.

It seems to be a problem with some languages.
It works fine for English and French, but we saw the problem in Deutch.
Maybe the problem exists for some other languages too.

We will try to improve this in the next release.

Hi AntiqueL

it seems to be a problem of newer xoops versions.
In index.php there is a check, which calendar should be taken, the settings in APCal.php
var $jscalendar 'jscalendar' ;
will be ignored
The check in index.php is
if( is_fileXOOPS_ROOT_PATH '/include/calendarjs.php' ) ) {
// older jscalendar in XOOPS 2.0.x core
, but the same file exist in actual version, and I think, actual version is not fully compatible in all languages.

I solved the problem with deleting the first if-condition, because the last else means the same.

In my index.php it looks like this
if( $action == 'Edit' ) {

//goffy deleted first if condition in order to use recommended jscalendar
        /* if( is_file( XOOPS_ROOT_PATH . '/include/calendarjs.php' ) ) {
            // older jscalendar in XOOPS 2.0.x core
            include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/include/calendarjs.php' ;
            $cal->jscalendar = 'xoops' ;
        } else */
if( is_dirXOOPS_ROOT_PATH '/common/jscalendar' ) ) {

// jscalendar in common (recommend)

$jscalurl XOOPS_URL '/common/jscalendar' ;

$xoopsTpl->assign'xoops_module_header' '
                <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="'
.$jscalurl.'/calendar-system.css" />
                <script type="text/javascript" src="'
.$jscalurl.'/calendar.js"></script>
                <script type="text/javascript" src="'
.$jscalurl.'/lang/'.$cal->jscalendar_lang_file.'"></script>
                <script type="text/javascript" src="'
.$jscalurl.'/calendar-setup.js"></script>
            '
$xoopsTpl->get_template_vars"xoops_module_header" ) ) ;

$cal->jscalendar 'jscalendar' ;
        } elseif(
is_dirXOOPS_ROOT_PATH '/class/calendar' ) ) {

// jscalendar in XOOPS 2.2 core

$jscalurl XOOPS_URL '/class/calendar' ;

$xoopsTpl->assign'xoops_module_header' '
                <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="'
.$jscalurl.'/CSS/calendar-blue.css" title="system" />
                <script type="text/javascript" src="'
.$jscalurl.'/calendar.js"></script>
                <script type="text/javascript" src="'
.$jscalurl.'/lang/'.$cal->jscalendar_lang_file.'"></script>
                <script type="text/javascript" src="'
.$jscalurl.'/calendar-setup.js"></script>
            '
$xoopsTpl->get_template_vars"xoops_module_header" ) ) ;

$cal->jscalendar 'jscalendar' ;
        } else {

// older jscalendar in XOOPS 2.0.x core

include XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/include/calendarjs.php' ;

$cal->jscalendar 'xoops' ;
        }

The jscalendar in folder common must be available, then it works in german version.

Hi Goffy,

Thanks a lot for reporting this issue.

We will take a look at it on Monday.

Your solution is perfect if someone wants to change it by himself.

Kind regards.

The new version of APCal (2.1.2) is now available.

We've solved some issues.
- The picture insertion
- The datepicker in the form
- The contact from site user interferring with the map.

We will add some new features like the captcha for anonymous submission as soon as possible.

Please try it and give us some feedbacks.

Kind regards,
